Ridgewood is happy to host 3 Girl Scout Troops:
Troop 1805 Daisy (K & 1st) and Brownie (2nd & 3rd)
Troop 1852 Junior (4th ,5th,& 6th)
Troop 185 Cadette (7th & 8th), Senior (9th & 10th) and Ambassador (11th & 12th)
Girl Scouts meet the first and third Mondays of each month from September through May. Meetings are from 6:30 pm- 8:00 pm. While all troops meet at the same time they break off into age level groups to work on the Girl Scout program. They are also flexible with scheduling for high school scouts.
Girl Scouts are always accepting new members.
The Girl Scouts try to deliver a well rounded scouting program to inspire girls. They participate in traditional scouting as well as organizing fun, not-so-traditional activities. From cookie sales, camp, and earning badges to spa days, career days, craft fairs, and mardi gras scouts know how to have a good time while building character and respect for themselves and others.

TOPS (Taking Off Pounds Sensibly)
TOPS is a group dedicated to encouraging sensible weight loss and striving for a healthier lifestyle. Each TOPS chapter is run by officials elected out of the local group members. Anyone can join TOPS and any member in good standing can run for elected office. Our local chapter is based around creating a strong sense of community and camaraderie as members participate in contests, meetings and programs designed to help people meet weight loss goals safely.
TOPS meets weekly on Tuesdays from 6:15 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in Chapel Hall. There is a weekly weigh-in starting at 6:15 in order to chart your progress followed by a program that changes every week. Common discussion topics include diet, nutrition, exercise, and healthy living.
