Steven Schafer, Pastor
Steven is thrilled to be in
Louisville helping Ridgewood Baptist discover and share
her progressive voice of faith with the Pleasure Ridge Park
community. Steven received a Bachelor of Arts in General
Studies with a minor in Counseling from the University of
North Texas in 2006 and a Master of Divinity from
George W. Truett Theological Seminary in 2009. Before
coming to Ridgewood, Steven served as a music minister
at Oak Grove Baptist Church in China Spring, Texas for
3 years. Steven was raised in Dallas, Texas. He enjoys
playing the piano, reading, kayaking on the Ohio, and going
out to eat with his wife, Linsey.
