Ridgewood Baptist Church is honored to partner with the longstanding Ridgewood Child Development Center.
We often work together often, but function independently.

We are open 6am-6pm.

Ages Accepted

Providing care for children ages 6 weeks through 12 years old.


All child care staff members complete a minimum of 15 hours of training every year. Continuing education is crucial for keeping up with new developments, policies, and ideas. Many staff members have obtained their Child Development Associate Credential (CDA). and others are taking it further by obtaining their Director's Credential, Associate Degree and even their Bachelor Degree.

Food Program

Ridgewood Child Development Center participates in the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP). CACFP is a federal program that provides reimbursements for nutritious meals and snacks to eligible children who are enrolled in participating child care centers. CACFP contributes to the wellness, healthy growth, and development of young children in the United States. Children enrolled at Ridgewood Child Development Center are provided nutritious meals packed with fruits, vegetables and whole grains. Weekly menus are posted and available for review.

Kentucky all stars

Ridgewood Child Development Center participates in the KY All STARS program. This program goes above and beyond State Licensing standards to ensure that your child will receive a quality education and have fun doing so.

Multi Child Discount 10% off

In January 2021, RCDC began using Brightwheel to assist families and staff in communication. Brightwheel allows for touchless check-in for children, as well as credit card billing and real-time updates for daily reports for children.
