Small Groups

No matter your life stage, Ridgewood has an opportunity to deepen relationships with God and others.

Children + Youth:

  • Children's Church resumes on the 1st and 3rd Sundays beginning June 6!

  • Youth will begin meeting monthly (in-person) during the summer. Stay tuned!

  • For updates, join our email list by contacting office@ridgewoodlouisville.org.

Young Adults:

  • Young Adults (ages 18-30) gather once a month in appropriately distanced gatherings that have involved frisbee, cornhole, and hiking. For information on these happenings, please contact Jennifer Thurman.

Adults + Senior Adults:

    • Tuesday Night Small Group - 7:30pm, Zoom

    • Beginning mid-August 2021, our Intern, Amanda Stirsman, will lead a class on Amy Jill Levine's "Short Stories by Jesus" that will coincide with preaching each week.

    • Our Senior Adult Class (9:45am, Sundays) plans to resume by fall. Stay tuned!

Pastor's Book Study

  • Pastor Molly offers 4- to 6-week long book studies during January, Lent (February/March/April, depending), Summer (June/July/August), and Fall (September/October). Often, these books are reflected in a Worship Series.

  • Books are not always required to participate, but encouraged to increase conversation and understanding. Please consider purchasing from a local bookstore if available.

  • Instead of purchasing a book, if you'd like to "check out" a book from the church office, please contact office@ridgewoodlouisville.org to coordinate pick-up and drop-off.

jim's "Taste & see" experience

In June and July 2021, Ridgewood participated in a worship and book study called "Taste & See," where participants were encouraged to use a "focus food" to cook a meal each week. Fish, tofu, salt, bread, figs, lamb/pork, and olives/olive oil. Jim shares his experience with using salt in baking - and through learning about his "No Bake Cookies," we learn a lot about Jim. Bon appetit, and amen!
