Rev. Molly Shoulta Tucker was called to pastor Ridgewood on December 15, 2019. She began on January 1, 2020. Molly is a Louisville native. She is a graduate of Georgetown College (B.A., Political Science; B.A., Communications & Media Studies) and Duke Divinity School (Masters of Divinity; Certificate in Baptist Studies; Hoyt Hickman Excellence in Liturgics Award). She was ordained by Millbrook Baptist Church in Raleigh, NC and prior to Ridgewood, served in Music and Youth ministries in Methodist churches. She completed CPE (Clinical Pastoral Education) Level I training at Duke Hospital, focusing on pediatric care. Molly's husband, Rob, is a UMC Pastor and serves in Louisville as well. They enjoy good coffee, University of Louisville and Duke University athletics, and their border-collie-mix, Cliffe (named after Duke Football Coach, David Cutcliffe). Molly and Rob welcomed their son, Cooper, into the world in August 2021.
Amanda began attending and became a member at Ridgewood in 2020. Amanda currently calls Louisville home but grew up near Owensboro, KY. Amanda is currently pursuing a B.S. in Biblical Studies at Indiana Wesleyan University. She has a desire to see those who have been rejected and abused by the church find healing, safety, and love in God. Amanda enjoys musical theatre, attending Broadway shows, traveling, going to Disney parks, and food!
