Rev. Molly Shoulta Tucker was called to pastor Ridgewood on December 15, 2019. She began on January 1, 2020. Molly is a Louisville native. She is a graduate of Georgetown College (B.A., Political Science; B.A., Communications & Media Studies) and Duke Divinity School (Masters of Divinity; Certificate in Baptist Studies; Hoyt Hickman Excellence in Liturgics Award). She was ordained by Millbrook Baptist Church in Raleigh, NC and prior to Ridgewood, served in Music and Youth ministries in Methodist churches. Molly's husband, Rob, is a UMC Pastor and serves in Louisville as well. They enjoy good coffee, University of Louisville and Duke University athletics, and their border-collie-mix, Cliffe (named after Duke Football Coach, David Cutcliffe).

Devin Holley

Devin Holley joined Ridgewood's staff on February 8, 2021. Devin is a Louisville native, and a current student at Simmons College, studying Music and Worship Ministry.

Amanda stirsman

Ministerial Intern

Originally from Owensboro, Kentucky, Amanda joined the staff as Ministerial Intern in January 2021. She is currently working on a B.A. in Biblical Studies from Indiana Wesleyan University.

Christina Ploetner

Childcare Development Center, Director

Christina came to Ridgewood July 27, 2015 as a toddler teacher, but quickly made her way into the Director’s position in November 2016. Christina has 26 years of experience working in childcare with all age groups. Currently, Christina has her Child Development Associate Credential in Preschool and her Director’s Credential. In May 2021, she will earn her Associate Degree in Interdisciplinary Early Childhood Education and then will begin working towards her Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood and Family Studies.

Christina’s hobbies and special interests include spending time with her husband and four children, collecting owls and nutcrackers, and enjoying a few quiet moments each day with her morning cup of coffee.
