Rev. Molly Shoulta Tucker has had the privilege of pastoring Ridgewood since January 1, 2020. Molly is a Louisville native. She was ordained by Millbrook Baptist Church in Raleigh, NC and has previously served in Music and Youth ministries in Methodist churches, and she has worked directly with families who have loved ones with dementia.
She currently serves on the national Baptist Women in Ministry Board of Directors, and is an active participant in the Kentucky BWIM organization. She is passionate about empowering female voices in the pulpit and framework of the church - since the first preachers trusted with the Gospel message were, in fact, women! Molly is the incoming Moderator for CBFKY beginning in Spring 2023. She also serves as an adjunct professor at Baptist Seminary of Kentucky.
Molly's husband, Rob, is a UMC Pastor. Molly and Rob have one human son, and one canine son, who likes to think he's a human.
