Children

• Nursery is offered for children 6 weeks - 4 years old on the second floor of our education building, beginning at 9:45am, closing at 12:15pm.

• Children use the "Godly Play" curriculum, led by Pastor Hollis and other volunteers at 9:45am on Sunday mornings. This invites children to "wonder" about the stories of the Bible using play therapy techniques. 

• Children's Church occurs each Sunday during worship. Children 5+ are invited to exit through the door closest to the piano at the end of Passing of the Peace (unless otherwise denoted in the bulletin). They will participate in conversation, Bible Story, and crafts, games, and other creative ways to instill the lesson of the day. 

Youth

• Youth Group meets on Sunday mornings at 9:45am in the Youth Room (lower level, education building). Youth engage with scripture and conversation that help them apply their faith to their everyday life. 

• We welcome those from 6th grade to 12th grade into youth. On occasion and at the discretion of the Pastor(s), exceptions are made to this age structure based on maturity or need.

• Youth are encouraged to participate in worship through leading in the service (Call to Worship, Scripture) or helping with worship preparation (slides, sound board). Youth may also serve as acolyte, where they bring the light of Christ in during the first song in our service.

• Youth have traveled to retreats, summer camps, and more based on interest in availability. Previously, the Ridgewood youth have participate in Passport Camps and UniDiversity.
