About our Pastor
Meet Pastor Molly.
Rev. Molly Shoulta Tucker has had the privilege of pastoring Ridgewood since January 1, 2020. Molly is a Louisville native. She was ordained by Millbrook Baptist Church in Raleigh, NC and has previously served in Music and Youth ministries in Methodist churches, and she has worked directly with families who have loved ones with dementia.
Pastor Molly currently serves as the Board Chair for the national organization, Baptist Women in Ministry, and is an active participant in the Kentucky BWIM organization. She is passionate about empowering female voices in the pulpit and framework of the church - since the first preachers trusted with the Gospel message were, in fact, women!
Molly is the current Moderator for Cooperative Baptist Fellowship of KY. She also serves as an adjunct professor at Baptist Seminary of Kentucky. Molly's husband, Rob, is a UMC Pastor and they have a son.
